Antoine is home from two weeks in Nairobi where he took two courses with the Vineyard School of Ministry there. He really enjoyed the courses on ‘Church planting’ and ‘Father God and family’ and is looking forward to the next two courses in August. He spent the last evening in Nairobi with the Kenyan national leader Noah Gitau and his wife Mary. He has come away from this time feeling inspired and encouraged. Thanks to everyone in Kenya and the US who made this possible for him.

The Finnerty Family

With Joel’s graduation coming up we decided to get some new family pictures taken at the same time as his grad picture. This is how the Finnertys look these days, for those we have not seen in a while.

Scholarship for Joel!

Much thanksgiving and rejoicing in the Finnerty home today as we received the news that Joel has secured a $16000 ($4000 per year for four years) scholarship to Dalhousie University in Halifax on academic ability. He also secured a $1200 bursary for this year. We are waiting to hear from some other possible scholarships in the hopes that he can go loan free. Thanks for your prayers.

Glass in place

Thanks to a fundraiser at Christmas amongst our partnering churches, our building now has glass in the windows. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Now to get the walls plastered. Great to see the progress but especially in the peoples lives.
